Texas police are hailing a concealed carry holder as a hero for shooting a beligerent attacker Wednesday, preventing what could have been a fatal bloodbath at a crowded sports bar.
Will Racke of TheDailyCaller writes “The man, who was dining with his wife at Zona Caliente in Arlington, Texas, quickly sprung into action when he witnessed the gunman allegedly shoot and kill the bar manager, police said. The man took a gun he had on a concealed carry permit and quickly shot the assailant, who later died.”
The concealed carry owner has not been publicly identified, but police has identified the assailant as 48-year-old James Jones of Grand Prairie, Texas.
